Default T-County, quit selling lottery tickets

Well, Tillamook County, Kitz the s***s just slammed the door on your economic well-being. I'd like to see every business in Tillamook county stop selling lottery tickets. Not to the locals, not to the out-of-towners, and not to the huge numbers of tourists who come to catch your fish. I'd like to see ifishers start their calls again, only this time tell 'em you're through buying into their lottery until they rescind the order to dump the hatcheries. They're taking away a big piece of your income. Take away a piece of theirs!

Now I know many of you will say that can't be done, but I'll just bet it can. I'll personally take a day off to go to Tillamook and stand by a lottery machine and ask people NOT to buy a ticket, and explain to them why!

They might be amazed at what we can accomplish.

I personally will not vote for anyone who is currently in office. Damn! Damn! Damn!

The way it looks now we wont have to worry about anyone buying anything in T county in about 5 years because it will be a ghost town compared to what is it now. :depressed:

I do like the Idea though and I will do whatever I can to help get the point accross.

Doesnt Tillamook have a Chamber of Commerce? Do the businesses really care about the hatcheries? I never hear any real complaints from locals except for Jerry and Jennie. I drove through Tillamook last week and didnt see one sign that said "Save our Hatcheries". Maybe I missed it but Tillamook seems to be the same ol sleepy town I grew up in and the concern for their hatcheries apparently runs just surface deep. It's business as usual. I quess as long as folks are still making profits they'll keep smiling all the way to the bank and put off worrying about the future till it bites em in the behind. As a sidenote dont even threaten to stop people from buying lottery tickets, these same businesses make a nice chunk of cash having these machines on their property and although seemingly complacent about the hatchery situation, I bet you'd be suprised at how vigorously business owners would defend their lottery machines.
