Default Dehydrator Jerky Recipe?

I just got a food dehydrator and tried making jerky via the recipe in the intruction booklet and it came out rather bland.

Does anyone have any good recipes for making jerky via the food dehydrator?

i made some with my dehydrator using 5# of ground venison and 2 packages of that dry spicy jerky seasoning that you can get at bimart. It turned out great. I used a jerky shooter kit with flat strips about 6" long.

I have found that 1tsp of liquid smoke flavoring in the brine or mix will help out alot.

I got a couple recipes I use for the dehydrator. Nothing too fancy, but I like it.

A friend of mine buys hamburger and mixes its up with her whatever she usues, and then rolls it out flat and cuts it will a pizza cutter and throws it in the dehydrator. I actually like it better this way.
