Default Where to launch in Tilly Bay?

Where would you suggest launching in Tillamook Bay? It has been a LONG time since I have been down there and we used to launch at Old Mill Marina. I have a 23 foot sled.

Thanks!

Nickle -

That big Alumaunit? I'd suggest you launch in Nehalem and work your way down. Just keep your window closed!

Actually Old Mill is still a good choice, as is the public launch. I would not recommend the upper bay for your boat because the oyster House is terribly tight and congested for your boat. You can do it, but be prepared for scratches if you do...

5 cents! Nickel or half of a dime. Old mill is free to launch but sometimes it is close during low water. The public ramp is 3 bucks but is always open. Good luck.

For $3 bucks Garabaldi is a nice launch as long as you don't get behind the guy that wants to wax his boat
