Pure Anise Oil?

I use the stuff from the baking section of the grocery store, but I know it has alcohol in it. I was told that pharmacies sometimes carry the "pure" version, but haven't checked.

I also use the baking section version, and if I am a little too heavy handed it can cause my herring to deteriorate a little from the alcohol. Any info on the pure real deal would be appreciated.

Do a search on Google. There are lots of places that sell it. It kinda spendy though.

I bought some from a pharmacy in Kalam a few years ago, Im about out so I need to get some more.

Do a search online, you can order it from the spicebarn I think it is called. Very reasonable price wise.

Found the pure stuff at a health food store in Keizer. Should probably be carried by any good health food store. Just my .02

You can find it at the Decorette Shop in Tigard. They are a couple of doors down from Archers Afield in the same strip mall. It is very near Hwy 99 (Pacific Hwy) and Hall.

I found some in Natures.
It turns to crystal after some time exposed to O2. Hense the alcohol for a stabilizer.
I just use the store version with very fine results.
