Default Greetings

Wow! What a great site.

Greetings everyone,

I have been looking at the posts on this site for some time and finally decided to register. I have applied several of the tactics that I have read on this site to improve my steelhead fishing.....and had great results.

I have traditionally been a salmon/steelhead fisherman. For the last 2 years I have been living near the snake river and became an avid bass and crappie fisherman until........ I landed on ifish.net.

I read the posts about all of the salmon and steelhead everyone has been catching and well, I got the salmon bug again. In fact, I just returned from a two day fishing trip on the Columbia in the combat fishing zone of the Deschutes. I had, thanks to you all, good success.

I am planning my next trip to Hells Canyon, so if anyone could toss me a few pointers I would greatly appreciate it.

Nice to have ya! Are the Micheal Jacksons still the ticket at the mouth of the Dechutes this year?

Snake River?
And no mention of catfish?!
My Family has fished the snake once a year for 15 years and always enjoy the great catfishing ...crappie....and small mouth fishing.
Welcome aboard and enjoy!
