Re: The Clack for coho yet????????
I fished below highrocks one Tue and Wed at lunch. I saw several if not lots of fish. It didn't surprize me that they wantd nothing to do with what I was tossing ( every spinner known to man) what was surprizing was there were no other fishermen both days. I saw no fresh blood, guts or borax so maybe it's still early yet.....

Fished today above Carver. Saw some fish rolling but they didn't want anything I had to offer.

Re: The Clack for coho yet????????
I fished near the mouth the last couple of nights. A few rolling right before dark. Have only seen one coho and two steelhead caught. A little early still. Once we get our first rain, it is going to bust loose.

Re: The Clack for coho yet????????
i fished the mouth yesterday off the point at clackamette park. no keepers for me but one guy got a good looking buck and another guy released a native. few fish rolling for the four or so hours i was there. last year this time it was teeming with 'em. when are they gonna show up? rain doesn't bring 'em up to the mouth, it moves 'em up into the river. so, where are they?

It's Sept. 14th. It beautiful and sunny outside. The coho are on the beach sunning themselves. When it rains and the leaves start turning, that's coho time.

Re: The Clack for coho yet????????
It was quiet yesterday (9/14) down by the mouth - didn't see any roll from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. A few more fisherman are showing - waiting.

They'll be here..rain..or not. AS Madwizard says... just get out there. Nothing like being there the day they arrive in great numbers.

Re: The Clack for coho yet????????
Fished the Willamette from Meldrum to Clack Mouth this afternoon. It was pretty dead. We did see a few fish rolling but no biters for us. Sure was a pretty afternoon out there though.

Fished sunday, 3 take downs which were lost, 3 jacks & 1 dark chinook released. Very low, but this rain will help.
