New Chat!

Guys, I got tired of paying 400 a year for a chat thing that we don't use much. Besides, it had too many bells and whistles that I don't use.
I got a new one, and I just set it up.
It is the same as Piscatorial and Steelheader.net use, and I think it is just great!
Please, come test it out with me right now, k?
I want to know it's set up right.

Jen tried twice but both times blew me out, had to start Netscape both times . maybe my slow modem or version of Netscape 4.72 I'm using with my 200mhz PC ( [img]graemlins/idea.gif[/img] maybe I should invest in a new one some time.) Naw rather put the money into fishing gear. Tried anyway

Sorry Jen, it's a Netscape killer, and I'm too frustrated with Microsoft's bullying ways to switch to Internet Explorer. But I'm not much for chat anyway, so don't worry too much about me.

For once something that actually works great with AOL. I had no trouble at all. I even had a really bad connection had trouble all day but chat worked great.

Logged on without problems...no one was home so I left but it seems to work pretty easily and smoothly. I use IE as windows doesn't work well with Netscape...at least for me and my system.

Using a Mac iBook, Internet Exploder 5.1 and a cable connection I hooked up great.
Did I mention that I am also wireless. I can walk around my house and still be connected to the internet. It is really cool..... sorry the tech geek just came out in me.

Bob's chat on PP is open all the time. Those netscape members can log on and see if it happens there.

As winter draws near, more people will use it. I've always had a chat, and Marty Peterson of Gone Fishin Guide Service usually runs it.

He's been fishing hard, so hasn't been around much lately.

I guess I do not know how to use the chat board so therefore [img]graemlins/1zhelp.gif[/img]

I click on the place where Jennie says to check it out and I get a place that says enter username/handle and I entered my ACE KING SUITED and get a response 'invalid username'. So therefor more study needed on my part. I must have to sign up or something to use this chat??? I will keep trying. Something?

Was able to get on and worked fine... as long as I am talking to myself, but then what's new.

Just on a standard dialup and using Internet Explorer.

Hope you all have a great Ifishstock. Family priorities take precedence this weekend.
