Head east from downtown Tillamook on 3rd street. Go past the hospital, radio station, jenk dairy farm

Cross Trask and Tillamook river down in the tidewater sections. Just keep heading for Netarts. The road will follow the Tillamook river for 1/2 mil or so after you cross the Tillamook river and then turn west as you go between the north and south cape. Just past the summit a road will turn to the left and head for Cape Lookout state park. Take the left to cape lookout. (if you get to metropolis Netarts, you missed the turn. You can go back to the summit to get the left you missed or drive along the bay frontage road heading south.)
I am not sure of the name of this road that turns off near the summit but it is a main road that had a turn lane and everything (....well no light or stop sign or anything big city like that

)
This road will go a couple miles and meet the bay, just head south along the bay frontage road, you only got a couple more miles to go, or less. If you get to Cape Lookout state park, you went to far, it is behind you on the right.
if you cant follow these country directions, you get to fish with the kids
