Sorry to hear that, I am taking a few hours off work this afternoon to hit Frenchman's. Has the smaller p.m. outgoing been enough current for proper Alvin wobblin?

Getting a mixed signal or two from your report. If you want to be zipperliped, don't post nothing at all...........

Stur. 42, I'm never sure how to read your posts, because you usually have 3 big grins after your posts.   I always wonder if you are really happy,(which is great), or if you are kidding about what you are saying (which is ok too). I did notice that your last reply, about zipper, didn't have any grins. Anyway hope to see you out on the river sometime, I know you have had very good success lately, keep up the good work.

I did'nt have the grinns because I thought someone thought I was zipperlipped when I've posted before that you ask and I will tell, I hope to meet you out there sometime as well, and the grinns are because I am happy when I'm talking fishing even when I'm not catching...

Stur. 42, I know what you mean about the fish talk. I get pretty jazzed reading people's reports when I can't be fishing myself. It just feeds the need until I can wet the hook. Good luck!

Red,
I have seen his boat out in the area a time or two and he is always grinning! Looks as if I won't be able to get on the water until early Saturday morning. I hope the water will give us until about 10:00 or to fish until it slows down. It seems as if the last 1/4 of the tide is the most productive so let's see what happens.

I look forward to seeing some of you guys on the water

For this Saturday, low tide is 8:06am for St.Helens, by experience Frenchman's bar is roughly 45 minutes later, so we'll have runout until just before 9am.

Then there is another low tide later in the evening at about 8:30pm, so you could conceivably fish two low tides in one 14 hour fishing day.

I'm going for the morning shift.

Sturgeon 42,
My apoligies if I misunderstood your post. I just thought you were posting bad results and hinting around otherwise with the three    . I am much like you in the respect that I will post a report on everything involved ie. place, wobbler, depth etc. I am always happy to share my success along with my failures on my outings. I have seen your boat in the area a few times. I will say "Hi" next time I see you on the river.....
