Boat Cover Scored!!!!
I just got a call from Stevens Marine that a dealer ordered a full boat cover by mistake that fits my boat. Retail is $699 but they want to get rid of it and would sell it to me for $350... I took it
Good Karma does come around once in a while!

Re: Boat Cover Scored!!!!
Hogmaster,
It's true I am a duck and I thought I would show my colors during football season and probably basketball season this year too! I really wanted some kind of Nickel avatar but I could not find anything :depressed: If you have something email it to me!
Don't hold it against me though I am one of the good guys!!! Just as I am sure there are good guys that are Beavers, Huskies and so on. If we ever go fishing together we will have something to talk about now if the fish are not biting

Re: Boat Cover Scored!!!!
Nickle -
No hard (duck) feelings here either. Truth be known one of my own offspring has been web footed as well as a nephew and niece. It is great to see the Oregon schools doing well in general, and by both doing well I think it makes them both better!
But we are at odds yet again. See, as of today, I am the proud owner of a (slightly used) 22 foot Willie Predator!
Mine has no windshield but also has no salt in the windshield motor! :-)
Alas, the Hogmaster's red sled is in the boats section of ifish. She'll be missed when she goes... We'll have to get a trip going in the same sled one of these day!
Now I need ****** to send me one of those Willie avatars!
Talk about when the fish aren't biting? When's that?

Re: Boat Cover Scored!!!!
Hogmaster,
Congratulations on the new (slightly used) boat.
May it be bloody and covered in fish slime every darn day you take it out!
BTW the salt in the wiper motor just adds that special bit of flavor for since that time my boat HAS been covered in fish blood and slime... except for last time. I think there is a little skunk hidden somewhere on my boat. Never fear I will find him and toss him overboard soon enough.

Re: Boat Cover Scored!!!!
GAME CHASER,
Ah so now that I see your avatar and the shirt it all makes sense. My mom worked at Boring Fire Department for a number of years and my step-dad is Matt Shields, he was chief out there for ever. Small world. Nice to meet you!
Usually people see the fish box as I drop off to land fish but that was one sloooooow day!

Re: Boat Cover Scored!!!!
I agree, tag-a-long!!!!!!!!!!!
And Nickle, part of what pushed me over the edge on buying the sled was that, while it was very well kept and extremely clean, I noticed a fish scale on the big Merc.
Good sign!!!!!!!!!
I might play a little hooky and get it wet and bloody tomorrow afternoon...
