Default please help moving to rogue river

We have half way moved there, staying at a RV park that is right on the rogue just above the dam. What I would like to know is there a seasonal chinook run on the rogue and when? Is there any certain places better than others? I've heard about the armchair hole right by gold hill but that is it. We have a 19'alumaweld flat bottom jet sled with a 115hp and a 8hp kicker. We have also heard that the rogue is a can opener on sleds. We also have a 12' alumium boat with a 10hp kicker if we don't have to sell it :depressed: . We mainly fish for steelhead, chinook, trout. What is sad is that we are missing the willamette run and it is really hard. And off the subject we also dirt bike ride if anyone down there also rides e-mail me and get in touch. Is there any place down south that you can razor clam, or any clam? The only place I know to crab that is remotely close would be winchester bay is there any place that is closer to when leaving the Grants pass area? Thank you for helping we need any and all.

Poor Guy . The rogue has a huge springer and fall run as well as winter and summer steelhead and Cohos. You are a lucky guy, the fishing is better there than here. Don't know much else though.

The Rogue has a decent Springer run although it is 80 some percent hatchery fish. This year we are going to a "one and three" regulation on wild Springers. You can keep one a day, three a season.

This run is just beginning at the mouth and will hit our area in the next three weeks to a month with April and May really turning on.

We also enjoy a huge Fall run with Sept. being best. They share the river with Summer Steelhead which is really fun. From Grants Pass down is the best fishing for fall fish.

A whole lot of fish are caught just below that fish killing dam. They stack up big time looking for the fish ladder in hundreds of feet of false attraction.

There is a good hole right at Valley of the Rogue Park as well as on up around Gold Hill and all the way to the hatchery.

There is crabbing and clamming at Brookings and Crescent City, Cal.

There is a big dirt bike riding area at John's Peak over near Jacksonville. It is popular spot and is maintained and managed well by local riding groups.

Welcome to God's land. Please be nice to it.

Thank you very much for all your help. I-fish has been a real help for us in many ways. Moving can be tough and learning new areas also. I guess I can call it new adventures. Again thank you.
