Default Bait in Reedsport?

We are going to leave KF after 16:00 on Thursday to fish Windy Bay, is there any place in Reedsport to get herring after 10:00 pm? Price and Pride?

Keta,

How early are you going out? I think the Hardware + sporting goods store right across from the Strikezone opens at 6:00AM. A little research and the store is called the Stockade Market and they open at 6:00AM.

Keta,

Here is the web page:

http://www.pacific101.com/pathfinder/gear.htm

After pasting this, I realized it's a link from the page of a iFish booster, Pacific Pioneer Charters.

Keta - Last time I was there (day before Labor Day) I bought a dozen herring at Reedsport Outdoor store for $5.75. Then kicked myself because it looked like there was fresh herring at the float in the east boat basin at WB and probably for less $$$.

Winchester Bay market or Stockade..... (tell Vern and Millie Hi for me if you see them....)early in am but not at night I fear.

Consider stopping at the Outdoor Store in Medford. Shawn has a good bait connection as his family lives in Coos Bay and are in the commercial business.

If I didnt have to go to Portland for a meeting I would be hitchhiking with a rod when you go by.

Good luck. I was in Roseburg today and heard it has been spotty. Lots of fish outside, Coho and Chinook both with some being caught inside.

Yeah, last time I was there they had multiple pens with live herring there in the east boat basin. That was a month ago though. We purchased ours at about 6 a.m.

Price N Pride is open till 11:00 pm. Far back right corner frozen section
Green $4.50
Red $4.25

Only a dozen boats or so from Reedsport to Dean Creek today.

A few silvers in the bay now, but nothing like last year at this time.
