My new fishing buddy was born last night. Ian weighed 7lbs 14 oz 21'' long. He's a keeper!! His sister is already quite the fisher girl at 3.

WE have a picture of our kids at the same ages with big sister holding little brother. They are 10 and 6 now. One of our favorite pictures

To get the most dependable fishing partners.... grow them.

Congrats

Hi Gorge_fisherman,

Great way to start a new fishin buddy. From Scratch. Funny thing is they'll come out doing what you do and usually ended up looking like you too. That's a good thing. Fortunately for me, my daughters get there good looks from my wife.

Big Congradulations!!!!

Nice catch GF. I have to question your reported weight however, what scale did you use, Husker's or ******'s.  Awesome work there, you must be very proud.

PS. ( Now would be a good time to tell your wife how beautiful she is. )

Congrats GF,

I've only got one right now but look forward to getting the same sort of pic on with my next one.

Hope you're able to get out and do some fishing soon.

Congratulations!!! But, shouldn't he be called Jack? He's under 24 inches!!! Good looking though. Probably should tell momma you need to go out and by him a fishing pole. Anyhow, hope he grows up strong.

Gorge Fisherman,
I worked with your father in law for a few years before he retired. Tell him he still owes me a ride in that shiny new boat of his. Is he out on Drano this morning?

Last night he pulled his little old boat to the White Salmon with his big new boat so they could pull around flat fish. They got a few steelies and a couple salmon.
