Scent a little and scent regularly. Compare instant coffee to real coffee. Would a great big plume of instant coffee scent draw you into the local espresso bar? Besides, you'll want to be checking your rig every once in a while to make sure you're actually fishing and not fouled on something.

I like to affix a bottle or two to the spreader, and then have a steady drip system to the lure. I figure that scent is simply legal chumming, so, if i'm going to do it, I'm going to do it up. Amp knows...
