We fished in big blue 9-8-02 about 4 hours, in the river for about 2, fairly rough in the ocean as the wind was blowing some. We had two fish landed in the ocean, one clipped. We had two Chinook on in the river but both came unbuttoned. IMHO it's very slow we talked to the fish checker at the dock, he said we were one of the lucky boats...lots of boats with no fish

We fished outside at #2 with many other boats on Saturday and ended up with our 4 and 6 nates. On Sunday we caught a lone 14lb fin cliped Silver at the bridge. Just could not do two days in a row getting banged up. Last trip to Astoria, Garbaldi next week. Good luck to all

Fished @ Bouy 10 on Sunday, and those boats that were working the rip 1/2 way through the incoming were getting fish. I had 2 natives to the boat in three runs through the rip, and was about to make the third trip down when I started having motor problems and had to leave :depressed: . I'd be at the line for the incoming tide. Also talked with some guys who had fished that on Sat, and they got fish also.

Default Astoria/Hammond Reports?

Any reports from those of you who fished the lower Columbia in the last week? Church hole, above the bridge, Warrenton area, Astoria? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

BT - we worked just above the bridge Friday - from 8:30 till 3. Saw very few boats, even less net action. Rfishman47 nailed one 18# fresh tule about 2:30... still had sea lice. Wind picked up and we called it a day.
