Not really, if you plan on anchoring anywhere near the mouth of the Clack or the Shad rack this is the ticket!!

I have this same anchor for my 17'3" alumaweld talon and it works great, I have anchored in such fast water before with it, that after settling in I was scared because it was moving so fast, took 26oz of lead to sit on the bottom fished there all day never slipped a inch.. free bump for a good deal...
