Small Boat Wanted
Im looking for a small fishing boat, Fiberglass or aluminum anywhere from 12-14'. I could buy a motor seperate, but the boat needs a trailer. I dont have alot to spend, so Im looking for something cheap, doesnt need to be pretty. Just something to get me on the water. Im only 15 so if there is a motor on it, it will have to be a 9.9 or less. I dont get out on the river in a boat as much as i would like. Its been hard since my dad passed away.
Thanks

Re: Small Boat Wanted
I have a 14 foot welded aluminum, with a 9.9 2 stroke Yamaha and an electric trolling motor. Humminbird depthfinder on a nice trailer.
I wasn't going to get it out for pictures til later in the spring, it's well worth the price.
$1500

Re: Small Boat Wanted
You may want to specify a budget so folks will know whether or not to offer what they have. If this boat is in the ball park for what you can afford it sounds like a really good one. If it is a little out of reach I might be able to make a donation to the seller towards it. If you are interested in it. Talk with him. He can pm me about whether it is possible.

I have a 14 foot 1959 Lonestar I would let you have for $300. It's not pretty but it floats.

Re: Small Boat Wanted
I have an old Evinrude 6hp that belonged to my grandfather. It is a great little motor. I has not been ran in years. But before it was stored it was professionally seviced. I would expect it would run, but should probably have the lower unit grease changed again since it has sat for about 10 years. Would that be enough motor for that boat? I live out of state but will be making a trip that way in the six weeks weather permitting.
