fishing plans changed once again! aaargh!
Seems like every time I try to go fishing as of late, it's scrapped and I just end up drinking a few brews with and Ifisher instead. Maybe I'm going about this fishing thing all wrong. Just plan to drink some beers, and maybe a fishing trip will break out
I'm really bummed about tomorrow, as Team Nosehairs is too but we'll have to wait anxiously till the 24th to put the hurt mr gator. It's probably the wise decision, I surely don't need to trash the new boat.
Looks like some steelies tomorrow instead.
Oh, what a bummer!

I feel your pain guys..... two feet of snow and now freezin' rain! And it's forecast to continue up here for the next 48 hours.... at least!
I'm jonesin' to go fishin' but it'd take a tractor for my boat to reach the street.... Grrrr.....
Is it spring yet?

I was wondering how you were holding up out there Tim. Sounds like a ton of fun in that weather. Hang in there brother, it will ease soon enough.
Wootie and the blowfish, I wanted to hit the wilson, but may have to just hit local waters.
What are you up to this weekend no that the sturgeon plans been scrapped?

I have today and tomorrow off of work. Too late to fish today and I REFUSE to spend another day at home.
Tomorrow should include beer and fishing in some form.

Re: fishing plans changed once again! aaargh!
Thanks GBS.... I'm hangin' in, but we haven't seen 32 degrees for a few weeks and it's gettin' old in a hurry.... and along with all the snow, this freezin' rain just sucks..... I'm worried about my boat barn if it continues....
Same day last year I was fishin' on the Columbia with a couple of buddies in shirt sleeves....
Let's hope we get a reprieve soon..... I'm tired of breakin' ice off my new pickup.... Tim

Good luck tomorrow GBS,
You'll probably spank em since I have backed out and will not be coming over the mountain. The Wilson is falling and green too. :depressed:
If you go out for beers drink a few for me.
Looking forward to the 24th.

Re: fishing plans changed once again! aaargh!
Hey, it's a good time to send in your reels to Reelmeister Al, found on the front page of ifish.net! I sent mine in a couple days ago. I figure with all the ice and snow, and threat of flooding, I'll get mine back as smooth as silk when the water clears up.
Take advantage of the little windows in front of you, when they open. The fishing window is closing for a few days, so do some maintenance on your reels, or tie up some springer rigs. Or play with the cat.
SKP
