Default 4/10 Springer Challenge (Open Seat Thread)

Since KHH got the ball rolling with the Official Teams thread, i'll get this one going for us bankees who are without boat and need a ride

Please post here if you have an open seat in your boat for the IFISH springer challenge on Saturday, April 10th OR if you are boatless and need an open seat for the springer challenge! Board members will work out all the details on their own via PM's, phone, or e-mails.

I'll be the first to humble myself and say that I'm boatless and in need of an open seat if anyone has one available! Will chip in for gas, bait, etc! Now that I broke the skunk, I promise I can catch springers now

Alright IFISHERS...who's got room in their boats for some bank bound chrome slayers You never know....we might be the key to winning this thing Never underestimate the power of a bankee

Are we aloud to threat that we'll have to win from the bank if someone doesn't take us out.

Aaron thanks for stepping up and posting this thread it really is a help to all the "boatees" and bankies.
As a bankie I would like to say I am available on that day-...and looking for a ride.
Thanks,
Jim

Where can I find the scoop on this event (location details, times, etc.) . I have a 21 foot boat, and would be more than willing to open up a couple seats. I would like very much if I could get an experienced springer fisher in the boat, as I am not.

Edit - Okay, I found the thread - Sounds great!! I need a couple team mates. I'll post on the other thread too.

Alright PeterMac. If you're offering up a seat, I'll take one. I should be off that day and I know a thing or two about springer fishing. Do you have slow action rods for trolling herring? Start looking for good quality medium-large herring now. That's one of the keys.

Thats enough out of you fishpez...the guy who bought a clackacraft drifter and doesn't know how to work the sticks.... Better get that boat polished up...friends are coming over and you want to be sure and show them that virgin fishin boat.

BTW~ You weren't far behind me in that line looking to get on the cool baseball team when we were 12. Nobody ever saw you though....little man!

Alright, enough trash talkin'. Jose, why don't we mount a motor on that thing and get out there with the big boys?? You could always row us wherever we need to go....we'll trade...lord knows we could both loose some weight!!

I am a bankie and am up for hitching a ride if you've got the room. Of course I will pitch in for the fuel and food. I have all my own gear and some boat fishing skill all be it very little. If you have an open seat and want to fill it I am your guy.
SB

P.S.
I am good luck, I never catch fish but everyone else in the boat will.

Ooooops. Just saw this thread after I posted on the main springer contest thread.

My ad:
Married 28 year old white male searching for an open seat for Springer Contest. Pleasant company and have good hygeine even if I can't spell it. Have my own gear and am more than willing to help with gas, food, beverages, etc. Please PM or email me if you are searching for that one lucky fisherman to fill an open seat in your boat.

I'll e-mail you and the others tonight to touch base with you all! Those springers don't have a chance now with our team.....let the smack talking commence!!

Hey...over here...pick me, pick me....I know I take up a ton of room and haven't bonked a springer before...but I know how to fish...and I've got gear...and I'll pitch in for gas....and bring my own food....and bait....and....oh please pick me!

Geeze, I feel like I'm 12 again trying to get on the cool baseball team!

Truth is I have a very small boat...trying to decompensate for something....and I'm afraid of what might happen if I were to not get a ride on a real boat...I will be out there no matter what!

In all seriousness, If you've got an open seat and don't mind bringin' a nice fella along..please e-mail me at jeffthomas@mix1075portland.com and we will work it out. I just shot an e-mail to finnman to see if he needs another person in his boat and I'm thinking of other guys who might need another person. This thread makes it easy. I live in Vancouver, so that might be something to keep in mind too.
