Default Gov. Island ?

If you could fish tomorrow in your boat, where would you go? Gov. Island on the Columbia? Or Fish the Willy around Oregon City. I know the Columbia opens tomorrow above I-5, but are there any fish moving through?

If you really wanted to fish tomorrow and you know your spot at Gov't Island well, you stand a chance. I got the opportunity to fish a bit further downriver on Sunday and the action was far from hot down there. There's even less chance that it'll be hot anywhere up here. If you must go, go where you know. If you can, wait it out. The fishing has yet to get good.

Hmm wish I could guess, or give some indication of how it might be... All I know is that while cruising back to the marina from fishing Catapiller Island on Saturday we saw this guy dropping in some kwikfish. If he's an Ifisher maybe he could tell us how he did... ?

So here's the report, he gave us a quick/unfriendly no when we asked him if he was catching anything. Hope that helps... BTW that's Gov't Island in the background
