Default Jig Swap is Away, Jig Swap is Away! (PICS)

You should get your jigs in the next couple of days.

I would like to say Thank you to everyone who participated. This would not have been as much fun with a smaller group. The jigs are beautiful and unique. I have gotten a ton of ideas and even more important (to me) made a couple of new friends.

I hope all of you find this as enjoyable as I did. I look forward to your posts about getting the jigs and any fishing success. Lets see those pics.

Thanks to all of you who provided some extra jigs for the “swapmeister”, I really appreciate it. I also have Jennie’s jigs heading out as well. I am sure she will be excited.

Thanks again and maybe we can do another swap closer to the spring (for those summer steelies).

Have a Great day.

-Todd

I got mine yesterday, but they are at my parent's place, not my apartment (school and vacation spots are different). My sister has a digital camera at home, and if I have the chance, I'll have her take a picture and send it to me and I'll post it.

I am stoked! Everyone is getting their jigs.

I had that sick feeling that I would send them all out and they would all get lost and everyone would think I am a no good slime ball. I sometimes expect the worst. Wait...I think there is a big-foot flying a black helicoptor over my building, spying on this message.

I am glad they are all making it OK. I can't wait to hear more stories. I am also thinking a good spring time jig swap is order.

Just got my jigs in the mail. WOW! what a great group of tyers we have!

I can't help but feel like the kid who drove his mom's wood-paneled station wagon to the prom, though--my jig looks so plain and the others are drop-dead gorgeous.

I'm ready to participate in another swap whenever one can be put together. I'll come up with something a bit cooler looking (but just as deadly  ) next time.

Again,

All of the jigs are awesome!!!! I got to take a peek at my son Sparkleboy's jigs as I set them up for my daughter to take a picture to post for everyone to see. Hopefully everything went well with the transmission to Sparkelboy so he can get them on here. This jig fishing thing is pretty cool since I started to have some success this past fall. I finally got smart and listened to Sparkelboy and I started to catch a few summers. I find the fish fight differently than when hooked on a spoon or spinner. It is fun to watch that bobber go down too. Good job everyone and tight lines.

I think the spring time would be great for another jig swap. Something to go after those nats and summer runs with. I haven't gotten a chance to use them yet but will after the impending floods recede. By the way, you can pull the legs on my jigs to make sure they run horizontally. They get all compressed from the packaging. Good luck gents!

Those jigs are all beautiful!
I tried to choose my favorite.

I can't! They are all so neatly tied. What a bunch of pros!

Nice photo, BUT,

Those jigs might work in New Zealand, but they are upside down for fishing around here!

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">If you're talking about the bottom picture, I can understand that...but if you're talking about the two top pictures, man, that's how my jigs catch fish! What are you using?! I'm just kidding, I bet you were joking, (maybe?) too.
Thanks for the compliments, everyone. Everyone did a wonderful jog on the jig swap! I wouldn't mind doing one each month!
