Do you like IFISH?
I just want to say that as a newer member to IFISH , I DO appreciate the value of this resourse. What a great way to share the exerience of a good day on the water with others as well as veiwing the experiences of their day. I wonder if we all realize what it took for the founders and their supporters (MOD'S) to get this set up and running. I want to say to JEN ,,,,THANK YOU. You and your crew are doing a great job to keep this thing moving in thie right direction. Your blood sweat and tears are greatly Appreciated.
I bring this up because generally little is said when all is going well. Complaints flow freely. Step up and let it be known that their efforts to make this a place for all to enjoy is appreciated. Thanks again Jen.

Re: Do you like IFISH?
I have been on here one week and have learned volumes.
My check is in the mail for a hat, decals and donation!
This is the best resource I have found for boating and fishing in the Northwest. There is NOTHING like it anywhere.
If more people would come here and learn and read about boating and fishing I think the water would be a safer place -- or at least a friendlier place.
Thanks Jen.

Re: Do you like IFISH?
In the past I would have to drop in the local bait shop or tackel shop to try and dial in on "what's up and working out there?" With 3 or 4 of the ol' local boy lean'n on the counter with BIG grins on their face, I often would feel like a CIA agent who just rolled in to town to check on the mayors son who was dating the librarians 17 3/4 year old daughter. And that secret trick of putting "salt & pepper on plug cut herring after dippin' it in that high $$ local BBQ sauce," they talked me into buying. didn't produce, I had a hard time trusting the info provided. There for awhile I think I was buying stuff that was headed to the "end of the years discount bin.
In the early 1970 I met Steve, ( you all know him as CRABBAIT) and I quickly realized the value of having friends who do their research and dial in to what is needed to produce out in the field. He was one who read everything he could get his hands on when it came to sporting equipment and tips. This has always been a great value to me as I have and will continue to seek his opinion before purchasing
gear. Most of the time it has cost me more but my satisfaction level and quality of gear is good.
My hat's off to all the opinions of the ifsh members who share their experience with honor and respect. It truly make me proud to know there are others out there who care about the sports we hold dearly and will help out when needed
The true meaning of "SPORTSMANSHIP'.
Or should it be "SPORTSPERSONSHIP'

Here Here! iFish has my vote for favorite web site. Not only is the information invaluable, the people here are awesome and the gentle policing helps to keep it that way.
Keep up the good work Jen! You have a fantastic site!

Re: Do you like IFISH?
A most sincere thank you is in order to the moderators admin and ifish board.
There are times when I have a terrible time making a decision, and I tend to be wishy washy about decisions.
It is those times when the moderators and board help me to clear my head.
They stimulate conversation, welcome the new members, and take a load of work off of me!
So... Thank you Jen for starting this site, yes, but thank you to all of the posters, and especially the thankless job of the moderators for keeping it going!
I know.... sappy...
But I do appreciate all of you!
Jen

A big thanks to Jennie for starting this site, keeping it going, and keeping us mods straight when we loose our cool.
And thanks to all you ifishers who share information and know how to agree or disagree without getting all irate and calling each other names. You make my job easy.
Kampy - Thanks for the memories and the stories you have helped to provide that I have yet to relate. Keep those weekly checks coming and, no, I still don't have an open seat. Besides, you have the big boat, get up here!

Re: Do you like IFISH?
Thanks Jennie.......
You do so much...... and you're thanked too little!
I too check Ifish almost daily, and without you and your Mod Squad, I'd be less informed.
For those that know me, they'll find it hard to believe, but it's the truth.
And I need stickers for my new boat.
I'll contact you directly for that privilege. And I'll be proud to have Ifish.net decals on my gunwales......
Thanks so much..... You and the guys are doin' a great job! Thanks, Tim

Ifish is an awesome site. This is THE place i go to whenever I log on. It keeps me sane when work and family obligations keep me from getting all stinked up with some big ugly scaly critter flopping around at my feet. Great Job Jen, Pilar, Adipose, Crabbait and Gizmo man.

You really appreciate this web site even more after you have been gone from it for awhile. I've met some great people here! too numerous to mention as a matter of fact but I have had some excellent fishing adventures with people on this site.
Kudos go to Jennie and the mods for maintaining the fun here.
Now here is my secret tip for the day:

I hope to meet *all* of you at ifishstock!

Re: Do you like IFISH?
The good news is..... this site is cuttin' into my workin' time...... and since my workin' time has been cuttin' into my fishin' time for many years, I think a balance has been struck.....
Thanks to Jen, and all the mods...... you're all doing us a great service!!!
I check the site every day...... you guys have been a great help, and a great inspiration. Even went out to Bimart today and replaced all my 20 lb. mono with 50 tuff..... and boy, that wasn't cheap. I knew I was in trouble when I couldn't find it on the aisle with the other lines.
When I asked the guy, he pointed down into the locked glass case (always a bad sign). But if I'm lucky enough to have a big fall 'nook on, I'd feel more stupid than normal if it broke off due to me not heeding your collective advice......
Thanks all...... I mean it! And I need DECALS! As far as size goes..... I think about an 8 or 10" would be good. Just a thought...... Tim ;>D

Ifish is a great site.
I know several people who read the site, but aren't members and they enjoy it too.
Thanks to Jennie and all the mods and everyone else who keeps this site going. Lets remember that they are doing this because they enjoy it. That is probably why the site is so cool.
Thanks a bunch!
