Default Great day fishing with Catch & Eat

I went out with C & E, His dad and Uncle Bob. We fished the big Blue and never made it back in to the Columbia to target Nooks. Bob was the first to land a fish then I put one in the boat, it just happened to end up being the big one for the day, 13 # silver. Bob bangs his 2nd fish, then Pops hauls one in. I make my move again and land a nice one, then C & E lands 2 in a row. Shorty after Pops hammers his 2nd and it's time to go home.
We were done fishing at around 12;30 and most of the fish were good size for Silvers. Uncle Bobs were smaller then most , however I can't feel sorry for him because he had around 15 hits and lost 4 or 5 fish. We did release 5 or so others and had many hits.
Thank you Bernnie for a good day of fishing and I hope you get a little sleep tonight .

I'm sorry for not posting that info. We were using divers Deep 6, Pink Lady, Delta, Dodgers on some and FishFlash on one rod. Long and short leaders from 2' to 6' long. The bait was Purple plug cut. We fished mostly 6 to 7 pulls and later went to 10 to 12. Hope it helps - Fishalot out.

Nice job, Fishalot,

FM2 is pulling someone's leg. Green Label is better for Coho.

Hey Fishalot,
You forgot to tell them, all the fish the day before came from my rod.
Partly because Pops needed to sharpen his hooks 6 hours earlier.

Nice fishing with ya - let's do it again.

That is right Bob Thomas, the sandy and clack are great places to catch the Silvers  . I to can't wait so I think I will try to bum more trips with people that are willing to take me . I do need to put a Nook in the boat soon so I can hand off the Baton . Good fishing to all where ever you make your efforts.

I know Rod has been working hard and Mofish has his boat in the shop. I have been doing a little fishing and was to leave to go Elk/Deer hunting today however I am having knee problems so I am staying home :depressed: . I would like to get out and fish B- 10 or the big Blue again. I am just waiting for an invite and I'm there.

Hey Fishalot that baton is yours till next springer season. You can't pawn it off on these easy fall fish At least you got the second best eating salmon to put on the grill.

No- No -No that is not how it works. I was told that a fall nook or URB would clear me of the baton. If that is not so then FM 2 should have it, he never caught a Springer  and now that he has caught 2 nooks outside B 10 and 2 inside he tells me he is clear of a hand off . So one nook on the Columbia and I am clear of it. Or it can go to him right now. I caught 4 Springers and worked hard to do it .

Wait, Waiitt, Waiitt a minute sir Fishalot, how dare you try to influence this thread with your baton rhetoric  , springer, summer, faller or winter, my rule book says sir Fishalot is to maintain a hold on the 2 ton baton till the next republican presidential visit   I saw Fishing Eddie asking behind the scenes with Colin Cowherd that he wants it back   but needs a little

ah so great is it to here the chatter of all those wanna be chinook catchers. If only I had Bernie as a guide all the time I would be well ahead of most. He puts you guys into the fish everytime he goes out and yet keeps quiet about how good he is. Not every skipper needs a gilligan to find fish. After all he has uncle bob
Nice report and I know just how good the skipper is.
Was the boat still leaking or did he get a bigger bilge pump? No calls to the coast guard or anything like that? Had to be a good trip.

Give a guy a inch and he will take a mile, have you heard that before? I'm fine with having the baton however when I catch my next nook it will be passed to the guy that never caught a Springer this year  . My record book tells me that is you my friend. I will even put a new coat of finish on it for you. Sooooo you get that show case ready  . This is the last word so let it be written.
