Default razor clam report

How about an update for us guys who are stuck inland? Washington, Oregon whatever... just curious how the clam diggers faired this last set of tides.

Clamming was good. Limits, but half were a little small. Clam holes were showing up high. Was a little cold. Crowds were not that big in the Long Beach area.

i limited this afternoon in exactly 18 minutes. they were small, i only got a half a handful that were on the bigger side. I got there at 350 today and there was not a person on the beach and they were showing like crazy, best day i have had in a while!

Yeah, yeah. Ok had to put on the big girl panties today and dug in the surf. Big clams but had to work for them. Was a little wet by the time I was done. Yesterday I had stayed high and dry and paid for it with smaller clams.

I want to try clamming with the wife and kids can someone point me in the right direction? I was heoping seaside. I don't see any negetive tides in the future can we still make it worth it on low tide days?

You did better than we did, no one was finding clams where I was at today, same place as yesterday, clams were not showing at all.... lots of empty bags when the sun went down, I managed 8 clams and called it quits when I started to need a light...weird for sure!

limits both Fri. & Sat. north of Oysterville seemed like the smaller the show the bigger the calm - no volcanos only swirlers - Sat. was a bigger average but ya had to work harder - a few lil guys near dark...just got tired of bending over sat. that tide came in quick...don't ask me how i know

easy limits out of Ocean Park both Fri & Sat for 3 of us. mixed bag size wise as expected and on a 0.0 tide we were there only 1 hour prior to low. cold but beautiful!

if you want to, you are free to tag along in the spring when I go clamming over at seaside. I've never tried it this time of year and not sure how productive it is right now. I can show you what to look for and give you a few pointers. Feel free to PM me if you want to hook up or maybe try on a low tide
