I am trying to find the smallest Prawns possible in the portland area and have had no luck. I have been getting them in town. But need to get them alot smaller. I have hear many times that the small ones come from Idaho but no source found. If anyone can shed some light on this matter that would be great.

If using them for bait, try coctail shrimp at the seafood counter. The are small, shrimpy tasting, and can be colored too. Super deadly for steelies in some places.
Just a thought.
BTW how many Mo fish are there ????

I buy frozen bait prawns at tony's in OC
for pretty cheap. I peel the tails for steelies,
sometimes throw them in jar with cured eggs
to soak up cure and scent.
