Default Recipe swap

I have a really good herring brine that I am willing to trade for a good steelhead egg recipe?
I have tried everything under the sun it seems, and my salmon egg cure works great.
I just can't seem to get the right concotion down for steelhead.
Anyone interested?
BTW this recipe has been under test for several years. Counts for 7 springers to the boat this year so far. No chain yanking here serious inquiries only.
Karma and the fish gods are watching you.

Do a search in the archives. There are plenty of good ones there.
Plus, we usually just post them for the world to see. We do that with exact fishing locations, too.
no! Really, we do.
So, you can post it below. Go ahead! It's alright! We trust you!!!

Me too, Ammermans is great, I'm just looking to get a home recipe, and expand on it.
Tried all the ones in Haugens book.
Just thought someone would like to trade

Ok Zodiac, out of the goodness of my come back karma, I will email you the cure.
Use it responsibly, and tell your children about me. Some day share a secret with me.

B-run,

Is this cure for herring that you jig yourself, or purchased bait? Does it matter? Shows you how much I know about brining bait!

Good luck finding that secret cure. I catch most of my steelhead on corky and yarn or flies. I haven't caught a steelhead on roe in quiet a while. I really should try the Ammerman's.

This is my own homecure herring brine.
I have to say, Ammermans eggs are good, and I have had luck with other commercial cures, but my strive here is to find a good home cure I guess.
I catch plenty of metalheads, I just am looking for a good trade. My springer cure really does work.
I should be selling it
No I don't jig them I get them from up north, Puget sound .
The Herring here are spawners, too mushy in my opinion

b-run, Help! I just bought a case of blue label herring from up north ($70.00) and grandpa took his herring brine to the grave. All I remember is rock salt and blueing, I have been experimenting with limited results but would be forever grateful if you could email me your brine recipe. I am more than happy to share my egg cure with you, nothing special just borax and cool aid but it works! My email is: fishhog1@comcast.net

It was undeliverable? Re email me if you didn't recieve my brine.
That was cool thanks for the great response folks. We'll have to do that again sometime.
Thanks to all and many yanks down.
