Hello everyone. I new here but not new to fishing. Salmon are my favorite, but not the only fish. A friend of mine put me onto this web site, (Wak em). I fished out of Winchester bay for many years. Now I live in Siletz and fish out of Newport when I can find the time. I fish out of a small alum. sled so I watch the wind pretty close. I only venture to the rockpile on good days. I've enjoyed reading the messages on ifish so I thought I should register too. Don't have to many great fishing stories to share. One from earlier this year. I took a lady friend fishing for sturgeon out of Clatskenie. The evening before over a brew she informed me that I was not going to help her crank in a sturgeon. She could do it her self. Well you know where this is going. Her arms were sore for three days. She couldn't hand me the pole fast enough on the second fish. The first fish had some how gave her a little backlash. The second was a freight train. He didn't care about no backlash or tuff line. New hooks and sinker please. Gave me something to rib her about. Looking forward to getting to know some of you. The moniker is fitting. I enjoy a good game of pool over a brew after a day of fishing or work.

Welcome to ifish!
I'm heading out right now to test out a bobber on some salmonids...

WHOOO HOOOOOOOOO!

It's probably pretty early for this, but I just can't wait!
