You may remember, awhile back I started a thread about frying potatoes. Long story short, I was experimenting with different oils, pans, etc. and had some good suggestions, but nothing that really excited me.
Well now I found it!!

Orville Redenbacher's Popping & Topping Buttery Flavored Popcorn Oil!!
I LOVE this stuff. I like making popcorn the "old fashioned" way so had some in the cupboard. And on a whim, decided to try it to fry potatoes in. In a nutshell....excellent results. So now I use it just about anywhere I'd use butter or oil, which is just about everywhere
