Impact update:

Impacts to listed species during the first four fishing periods are estimated to be 0.064 for
upriver spring chinook and 0.200% for wild winter steelhead. Total impacts to date represent
8.00% of the upriver spring chinook impact limit and 10% of the wild winter steelhead
impact limit.

From today's joint staff report: http://www.dfw.state.or.us/ODFWhtml/...arch15fact.pdf

Default Netters Update...Last weeks results...

Here is the link:

http://www.dfw.state.or.us/ODFWhtml/...onstration.PDF

Preliminary results put it at 701 for Tues/Wed and 688 for Thur/Fri fisheries. That's 1389 kept for last week and a season total of 1,961 springers.

There should be another fact sheet and joint staff report posted today after the CRC meeting. It will be interesting to see what the total handle was, steelhead handle and upriver percentage.

Observations from Sunday show a high number of steelhead ... I guess that's why the season is only 15 hours starting this afternoon at 3 PM.

17 drifts, 21 chinook, 12 steelhead, 62% mark rate, 70% chinook, 0% upriver

Gentlemen,
Thank you for the information. Does anyone have any idea on where the impact number is. The ESA impact is the number that really matters as I understand it. It would be nice to see these guys done by april.
