Hey havanagrouper2004,

I posted a couple surf fishing articles I did in a couple different publications this last spring.
If you do a search you could probably find them.
I also did a pretty thourough post on the rods/reels and terminal tackle on BOE's Tillamook jetty invitational last spring if you can find that one also.

Pressed for time right now but you should be able to find it on the search.
I was DepoeBayDan last year but think the post will say BTBW now.
People will refer to me as DBD or whatever in the thread itself however.

Default surf fishing tackle

Hi to everyone, this question is for all surffisherman, out there Im in the decision to purchase a surf gear, but I want to get a set up that allowed me to do medium heavy fishing and light whenever I want to switch from one to another, or something that I will be able to cast far away or fishing close to shore if I want I need help in what lenght of rod will be suitable to do this, and what reel will allowed me to if is possible, Thanks in advance for your response.
