Default Kalama Q's

Was thinking of going down to kalama for some springers and was looking for info on where to set anchor or good place to troll on the incoming.Have fished there for fall nooks but never for springers.Thanks.

RR... you can do all of the above in either direction from the Kalama launch. You will see boats anchored and trolling for miles in either direction. Unlike fall, you don't see many boats anchored off the Port of Kalama wing dams. Not sure why, it just doesn't seem to be as popular. Some say springers run the Oregon side and Falls run the WA side. I don't completely buy into that, but water depth, clarity and temperature could play into it.
