I have been reading your forum for the last two years. I finally decided to join and give my thoughts and knowlegde to the group.
I have lived in Warrenton since 1991, a Coast Guard transplant. Retired in 1997, went to Harvard on the Hill (Clatsop Comm. College). Now I work part time at the local hospital.

I have been fishing the Columbia since my arrival. I fish for spring chinook, summer run steelhead and the very famous ocean and bouy 10 fishery. I throughly enjoy the exchange of fishing trips and techinques.

Crabbait - look, this guy did it right!! Nice first post/intro mrfish  If you don't get the joke, see the post "Sneaky New Members - Post Here". Most of em claim ignorance, but as a relatively new member I know better. They ask you vewwyy vewwyyy politely to intro yourself for a first post. I just think most of those guys are shy. I know, I am too .

I'm moored in the Skippinon so I'm guessing we'll be seeing each other and maybe tip one at the bouy (that would be drink at b9, not boat at b10).

Mrfish, welcome aboard! Good to have you along. I love the perspective of guys that have been on the uniformed side of our fishing fun. Hope you'll help us all do it a little safer!

Welcome aboard mrfish, One thing you're going to have to do here is one BIG responsibility for new members. You are the go to guy for info on B10. Let us know when the fishings hot and what the hot rigging and bait is. A lot of guys wouldn't be able to handle that kinda pressure but seeing as how you signed to ifish, you showed us all that you can handle a little pressure. See ya on the water!
