Default Need boat trailer

I am in need of a "Cheap" boat trailer for my 82 year old father in law. He has a 12 smoker craft that he hauls on top of his pickup. He has told me that if he had a trailer he would use it more. He fishes the whole month of June every year at Odell lake and the boat sits the rest of the year. I would like to help him fish more. If anyone has anyhting out there I would appreciate teh info. on it. He doesn't have a bunch of money but I will help him some also. Anything to keep him fishing. Thanks in advance.

ladtrips,
Nice to meet you, I read your post on the newbie's thread. There are a few of us ifisher's that live in Canby, we should get together for a cold beverage sometime. I will keep my eyes open in our local area for a trailer and let you know if I see any.

PS- What part of town do you live in, I am in Township Village.

Ladtrips - If you have any mechanical skills (oh ya - and time to mess with it) I've got a "skeleton" trailer that you can have. It came under my drift boat and then I got a really nice little caulkins by way of a long story. I pulled the deck (3/4 ply wood) off the first (it was a home made) trailer, pulled the rollers off the caulkins and made a new spiffy little drift boat trailer. The skeleton is buried in the weeds somewhere behind my barn. Spindles/axle/frame are salvageable. Needs hubs/bearings/rims/tires/fenders and some sort of deck or rollers. I think I still have the caulkins rollers, but I'm not sure. Acutally the hubs should be around and ok. It had weeny little tires and rims though (like 8").
Anyway - It may not even be worth the drive to Hillsboro, but if your interested, capable and in the area, free MAY be a very good price.

Offer limitied to quantity on hand and price good until I change my mind ( I keep thinkin I could use that for my 34 tolly  , and you never know when I might have a revelation ).

Anybody else is welcome if ladtrips doesn't grab it. It's probably only good for a couple few hundred pounds. Send e-mail, I'll check the rollers/hubs out see what's still here and give directions.
