Default umpqua springers?

Ive tried to catch a springer in the umpqua for some time now, this is my second year, I have 80+ hrs at it with only 1 fish touched. I hooked a fish on a blade. I fish between 6 & 8 feet of water by scots creek with various spinners, 18'' droper and 24' leader. Does anyone use kwikies or bait on the umpqua or mostly just spinners.

Another question, do people run through sawyer radids regularly??? I havent decided yet if I wish to.

Thanks

I fish below scott creek use a spinner bait and anchovie, I use 18 to 20 inches of dropper and a 50 inch leader to my spinner bait.

are you even getting any drive by's? that dont hook up? if thats the case let them have it completely seems like if you grab the rod before they have turned on it and line is smoking out the just drop it.

do you fish out of a drift boat or a sled? it could be your just anchoring in spots out of the path of the fishies. if your in a sled dont be afraid to move around some and find a better spot.

I have never ran saywers but I ran the narrows below saywers once at about 8 feet hairy ride in a drift boat huge standing waves

if ya have any more questions fel free to message me
