Where to go for catfish fishing?

Where is a good place within a two hour drive of Portland for good catfish fishing?

We used to kill'em at Detroit lake at night. Use a worm on the bottom and bring a lanturn. Not a whole lotta size to them unfortunatly.

Mouth of the Tualatin River. I have an old newsclip about a 14lb Catfish taken there on a hot August night.

Smaller ones are everywhere you think they should be (at night).

John Day River about 5 miles up from the mouth start at the first 90 degree turn makes and work your way up from there. Nice Channel Cats...I have caught a couple that pushed 15...lots in the 2-4 pound range.
