Default 2004 Willamette Salmon Quest AUCTION

Here is your chance to help ifish and compete in the 2004 Willamette Salmon Quest Tournament. The Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation has agreed to donate a trip for two to their event, valued at $450 ($225 per seat). We have decided to auction the trip to the highest bidder on this thread. Now for the best part: The guide for these lucky fishermen will be our own Marty Peterson!

The proceeds from this auction will be divided between ifish and the Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation. The portion going to the OWHF will assist the Foundation, in partnership with Portland General Electric, to construct a 3,500 foot rearing channel for juvenile salmon and steelhead in the Clackamas River near Barton Park.

Here is the itinerary:

This year begins with a full day of competitive fishing, ending with a banquet, auction and awards at the Holiday Inn- Portland Airport.

AGENDA
Saturday April 3, 2004

ANGLING:
Fish until 3:00 p.m.
(fish reported in after 5:00 p.m. will not count!)
SOCIAL EVENTS:
5:00 p.m. Happy Hour- no host
6:30 p.m. Banquet
7:30 p.m. Awards/Auction

BANQUET LOCATION:
**TICKETS FOR THE BANQUET ONLY ARE AVAILABLE - $35
Phone 503-255-6059
FAX 503-255-6467

Holiday Inn - Portland Airport
8439 NE Columbia Blvd.
503-256-5000

The Auction: Bidding will begin immediately and will end Saturday, March 27, at 8:00pm, winner to be announced shortly thereafter. To bid, simply post your bid amount to this thread.

The winning bidder will finalize the bid process with prompt payment. Failure to comply will forfeit to the next highest bidder.

I will start with an opening bid of $400. Good luck to all!

What difference does it make? If wifey finds out I bid at all it's death. If she finds out I bid higher, slow death. Oh well, at least I have my pick I wonder what the punishment would be if I were to win and didn't take her?

The money goes for a smolt rearing channel in the Clack and to ifish. What could be better?

I can't tell if that's real pity or if you're using me as an excuse to get to fish with Marty.
