Default 2001 Thunderjet Luxor 190 - New Motor - Ready to Fish.

2001 Thunderjet Luxor inboard Jet with a new Mercury 175 Sportjet.

Mercury 175 Sport jet COMPLETELY rebuilt in 2008 by a certified Mercury mechanic. New pistons, boysen power reeds, crank / block machined. Motor was completely disassembled, any issues addressed, and rebuilt. Setup to run on premix, just tuned by Marc's Merc's. Runs better than any SJ I have been on. New fluids in pump. Impeller just tuned. Always Garaged. Great stable fishing platform or water sport boat. Will run very shallow or rough water. Boat sat in a shop unused for 4 years prior to 2008. Very clean.

2008 Suzuki 9.9 High thrust 4 Stroke. Electric Start / Electric Tilt. Fluids just changed & Tuned up. Runs Great. (Will deduct $1300 from the price of the boat if you don't want this).

Full removable canvas top with new side windows (about 3 months ago).

Also Included
Lowrance LMS 480 GPS & Fish Finder (New GPS Puck & Transducer in 2009).
Lowrance X-75 Depth Sounder. (setup for engine management)
VHF 2 Way Radio With fold-able antenna.
1 Cannon electric down rigger with quick detach wiring and removable bases. (will deduct $300 from the price of the boat if you don't want this)
4 Rod Holders and Bases.
2 Trojan Deep cycle marine batteries (both replaced in 2008) with Switch (and lockout key).
CR Anchor with Motion Marine Bracket. 300FT rope.
Single Axle Tricker Trailer with surge brakes (axle was replaced previously)
Bearings replaced / repacked in fall 2009.
Spare Tire.
Custom Canvas Storage Cover.

Recently Replaced
New front Seats in 2009.
New Steering cable in 2009.
Engine Box cut down to fit SJ.

I pulled the floor last year to replace the steering cable and inspected all welds that I could access. No issues.

The boat is 100% mechanically. I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere.

iFish Price - $16900 OBO

Great boat. Just trading up.

Few people have asked why the old engine was rebuilt. Engine was ran without oil and it didn't last too long.

I will measure tonight and get back to you... I know it's at least 6ft at the folding seats as I have slept on them a few times.

My 2001 Thunderjet Luxor SJ was 5 1/2' bottom but at the sleeper it probably is 6'. Exclellent deal for a great light weight boat. At times I wish I still had mine for the weight, but love my NR Commander. Here's what the interior looks like in the TJ SJ

You are right on for the floor. It's 66.5in wide at the floor and 78in wide at the seats. Interior of mine looks the same as yours except I have newer seats for the captain / co pilot seat and mine is white. I have had the boat everywhere from the shallows of the lewis / Vancouver lake duck hunting to Buoy 10.

Does this boat have the automatic mixer for the 2-stroke oil or do you have to manually mix it in the tank? I'm gonna be looking to buy a boat next month and this one looks good but I dont want to have to manually mix oil as I fill up.

Sorry, Didn't see your post until just now. The boat is presently setup to run on premix. I had the mercury bypass kit installed when they rebuilt the motor.

I have all the parts to convert it back to oil injection. Previous engine blew when the previous owner ran the oil tank dry and didn't know what the alarm was for. I figured premix was safe way to make sure that never happened again.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you!

Just to add a few things. Mixing the gas / oil is really easy, the boat has a 50 gallon tank, so 1/2 a tank means 1/2 a gallon of oil. I usually fill it, look at how many gallons went in and then pour the oil into the fuel tank, and give it another gallon of gas to wash the oil down. Because the gas tank is so big you don't have to fill very often.

One other advantage, I only run the Amsoil HP Injector oil and it has fuel stabilizer in it. Prevents your gas from going bad, where as if the oil was in the oil tank it wouldn't do anything but sit in the tank and look pretty.

Good luck on your boat search!
