Default Cowlitz Springer’s Plunked Today!

These guys came in to Bob’s earlier today and weighed in their springer’s.
Don Sears from Castle Rock got a 16&1/2 pounder and Kurt Rheaume from Longview got a 12 pounder.
Unfortunately I didn’t have my thinking cap on and go get the digital down the street and snap a shot.
So this is a shot from a digital of their Polaroid pic.

They were fishing down off of Chapman road across from the Toutle River and down stream a bit plunking a spin-n-glo and sand shrimp off the bottom rig with a 6” dropper line.
13” above they tied a barrel swivel and bead and slid a Brad’s BW-16 down their line.
Both fish were caught on the BW-16’s with stock hooks and this is not the first time they have caught them this way.

I'll be posting pretty soon some pic's of springer's and the way we catch them and rarely get only one and "skunk" is not in our vocabulary.
