Default Echip on lures and flashers

I was looking through my Cabela's Salmon trout steelhead catalogue and saw some lures similiar to an Apex and a flasher that addvertised the new "Echip" Technology. The caption says that it emits an electronic pulse similiar to a wounded bait fish. I know some people control the electrical current around thier boat with a "black box" and say that it makes a difference. I was thinking that this seems along the same line of thought. Controling the electrical current around the lure. I am going to order some and see how they do. But since I haven't caught a springer ever I guess it wouldn't make much of a diifference. I guess I will find out. Anyone else see this or ever tried them? Just a thought.

My guide friends in Alaska have tested the e-chip model RSK.....and found it to be no better than plug-cuts....have no idea about the flashers.
