1992 15hp johnson

I was given a 92 15hp johnson short shaft johnson outboard motor. It has never been started or even mounted on a boat. how should it be broke in....what size boat will it push effectivly thanks for any help

I think that motor would effectively push MY boat (hint hint) that would do good on a small aluminum 10-15' or a kicker on a large boat. hope that helps.

I've got a 97 15 HP Johnsons on a 14' Jon boat - all I can say is hold on for dear life! Not as fast as Hog Hunter's Duckworth, but just fast enough to make you think twice about opening the throttle up - especially in a flat bottom with 18" sides. :shocked: Zoom Zoom!
