[No Wishin Just Fishin]

Next time You are at the dam hole look over your shoulder and you will see a plaque tnaming two of the best guys to ever fish there. One is Ed Voget and the other is my good friend and fish partner Bernie Thibert. Someone used the plaque for target practice right after we put it up and if I ever find out who did it I will prob go to jail for hurting someone real bad.

Bernie kept a log and I know between the NF, Kilchis, and the Trask He caught over 2000 steelhead and probably put all but 10 or 12 back. He could catch a steelhead in a mud puddle on a fly We will miss Him and Ed alot :smile: :smile: :smile:

Sorry to hear about your friend and the plaque.

It really burdens my heart to think about how many scumbags we have in our great state now.

This is 1936. Can you imagine what it was like then?

Wow 1936. I first fished it in 1958 and it was hot then. I have caught 22 steelhead over 20lbs and 19 were at the dam Hole. Thanks for the pic. Ed would have loved it as He fished there first in 1927. I still remember days with 45 fish or more on the bank and guys trading up and just plain slaughtering them. I actually had over 75 this year as not many people fish there with the wild rule
