Default Mini Tilla-We need to postpone til...

Got a reliable report from the Nestucca today. The water is 63 degrees. There are fish in the system They are not biting.Until a weather change happens(read signifigant rain event or long cooling trend with cold nites)then I can't see stacking 15 people on the river with little chance of a bite.
I am quite embaressed to say that I should have known this would happen when posted the idea originally.I had hoped for better conditions to prevail.I should not trust hope too much. For those who would like to go, then a much more realistic timeline would be either after a hard rain or after labor day.At that time the water should cool off enough to make for some great fishing.
I am sorry for any inconvience this may have caused you or your family or friends.
See you on the rivers.
Mark.

reserve me a seat when it happens. I agree with the river levels and the heat the way it is we would be going for a boat ride.

I will look forward to the next date.. Keep me posted..

Jeff

Hey Mark, no big deal. Now we have plenty of
notice to make other plans. It was a great idea. That's the best part of ifish, is meeting all
the nice folks who come here to visit and share.
