Congrats Firedog, enjoy your honeymon! Are you going to get to do any fishing in Maui? If I remember the black marlins should be in about now (or maybe the stripped) between Maui and the Big Island. Have a great time!

Congrats and let us know how the fishing is. You are going fishing aren't you? Can't waste a perfectly good trip and not get to fish.

Congrads firedog and near future Mrs firelady (can't call her a dog  )

Spent my honeymoon there too in Kehei! You'll have to check out the cataraman that goes out to Molokanai (sp) crater where you can dive and check out all the colorful fish which will eat from your hand. They also put on a cool BBQ. Don't forget the helicopter ride around Haleakala (sp) volcano, very cool. The beaches, ohhhh the quiet beaches for long walks and cuddle time, it's such a romantic place.

Have a great time!

Everyone thanks for the congrats. She is definately a keeper. I C & R'd a lot of others till I found the right one  Dont know if I am going to fish in Maui or not, just looking forward to getting to relax and spend time with my lovely new bride on the beach with a cold drink in my hard.

FM2, She calls herself the Firecat since I am the Firedog. So that is her nickname.

Madwizard, I have had plenty of offers from the guys at the station to buy the boat, but it is staying with me. I have a pretty good sysytm since my days off rotate all the time I fish during the weekdays and she gets the weekends since she has a 9-5 weekday job. So that works out real well. Sorry but no boat for sale and when the little ones come along I will just have to teach them to row

Chummer, I am local 43, City of Portland.

Thanks everyone again

It's only taken me 8 years of marriage to figure out there's just two rules:

Rule #1. She's always right.......

Rule #2. When she's wrong, refer to Rule #1......

Good luck, and have a great time!!

Dun, dun, dun dun, you're done Marty!  A big congrats to ya and the lady.

Now you will find out what all us married dudes are going through. Now, before you ever go fishing again you will have to get clearence from the "war department".

Have a great honeymoon and we all hope she will let you go fishing at least once a year. Now if you're lucky you got a deal like Fishin Mission where the wife likes to go almost as much as the husband.
