Kids catch monster fish!!!

Ok, so they really were just planters on a Mt Hood lake....but boy, were these two happy!!!

Whats wrong with those fish? Do they normally have trees growing out of their gills? I would have thrown them freaks of nature back. :tongue:

Of course, I couldn't manage to get into one for mine to land, FishFinder had to do that for me....It's a good thing I'm better at catching the big fish!! (insider jk)

What an awesome day we had catching those fish with the kids! (Much better than having The Rogue school me the day before and the day after :smile: ) My son has been asking when we can go back and catch the ones that we threw back to "grow bigger" as he thinks they have grown since Saturday. You are all correct about the memories. My first real fishing trip with my dad was about 3 miles from this spot nearly 30 years ago (wow) and I still remember it like it was yesterday.
