There is nothing like seeing someone catch their first fish and when its your own son it just doubles the enjoyment.
Nice fish.

Mark,
Looks like your son is about the same age as mine, he's not too interested any more in fishing either. I congratulate both of you on a day you will both remember for a long time. That's a really pretty Steelhead!!

Default My son caught his first steelhead

I talked my son into getting up at o'dark thirty and going fishing with me one morning this week and he was rewarded with his first steelhead. A nice 9 # chromer caught on a pink/white jig. He would prefer to spend all his time chasing girls but now I think I've got him a little bit interested in fishing.

I missed this one!
Way to go Mark and son!!!

Mark, we should get together and take Andrew and your son. If you can talk your son into it, I can too!

Thanks for the comments guys. Fishing is just not an interest of his but I'm working on it. I can't blame him when there's other things to do like chase girls and chase girls and you get the point.

Jennie

You know where I'm coming from. Time spent with friends verses tossing stuff at fish is two different worlds. That would be fun to get together on the river. Take care.
