Default Yamaha 15hp, Prop. Jet Drive??

Howdy, I have a Zodiac with a 15hp yamaha. I am in need of a new prop. Where do you reccomend that i go to get a new prop? and how much am i looking at? Also what do you think about putting a jetdrive on a 15hp yamaha? The Zodiac only weighs 50lbs.. Plus me 160lbs. Would this be a good idea? Also i noticed yesterday when i looked at my engine, i noticed that the lower unit was not aligned streight with the upper unit (engine) there is a rod that goes up and down whenever i shift the engine in forward or reverse. Is this alignment problem serious? Whenever I use my motor the engine veers right and i have to hold the tiller handle with extra strength to keep the boat going on the desired course that im going on. What do youy guys think?

Tight Lines, Dylan

If you put a pump on an outboard you lose 30% of your horsepower, and I don't know if anybody makes a pump for a 15 Yamahammer. The smallest motor I've ever seen with a pump was a 25hp Merc.

On my Merc the zinc anode has a fin (or skeg) that can angle either direction to compensate for the rotation of the prop and motor. It just has a bolt thru the middle that loosens it so it can be set where you want it. Yamaha might be similar, but I've never looked at one. They have to have some means of adjusting for torque steer.

This alignment thing sounds kinda weird. If it was serious, you'd have major problems like water in the lower unit and exhaust/oil leaks. It depends on if the alignment is off laterally or vertically. Hard to tell from here.
