Nehalem Bay

The family and I will be camping at the Nehalem Bay Campground on the weekend of July 19th. I was wondering how the chinook run is typically at this time? I will be fishing out of a 13 foot aluminum boat, should I stick to Wheeler or in good conditions out a bit closer to the jaws?

Luthian , That would be a good time to be there. The 13' boat would be just fine at Wheeler. Good luck I will be there some time in july.
