Outgoing tide to low slack has been best for us in years past. The stronger the outflow the better, helps keep the trash away from your bait. Good Luck!!

When I fish right in front of Hammond, I personally prefer a flood tide. I have caught fish in both so it really doesn't matter. The good thing about an ebb tide is you can fish the edges of the sand bars with great success. The main thing is to get out there and move when you don't get bit. Good luck and post some results.

Look for my NorthRiver Barge thats where the fish will be. You may have to look around to find me cause I plan on burning a little fuel.
