Default My wife's family...

I'm not a very religious man - but for those who are - my wife's family could use some thoughts and prayers today. My wife's parents came over to deliver my birthday present today, then they went grocery shopping. They were met when they got home by the Hillsboro Police chaplain - my brother in law was found dead in his truck this morning, slumped at the steering wheel in the parking lot of his workplace - ME's autopsy results are not in yet, but they're pretty sure he had a massive heart attack. He has had health troubles the last few years - my wife & I ran into him while he was working just a few days ago, we hadn't seen him for a few months. He looked ill then, but he was on his feet and working. He'd gained some weight since we last saw him. He just turned 30 earlier this month.

Kevin was an avid fisherman, shooter and hunter. I don't think he was an ifish member - he never said he was, nor did he ever talk about ifish - but he loved the outdoors as much as anyone on this site.

He will be cremated, and his ashes spread along some of his favorite fishing rivers.

I know my wife and in-laws would appreciate any thoughts or prayers now. Parents should never outlive their children.

Thank you all

Thanks all for the thoughts/prayers. I spent part of the day helping my father in law go through my bro's things - that's never an easy task. I have to say, Kevin had great taste in gear - everything was top quality stuff - and he knew how to use it. Saw some picks of his results earlier to prove it.

We're not sure on the date yet, but there will be a memorial service next week.

Thanks all for continued warm thoughts.
