Regarding weigth, I use a 12 oz pyramid at Sauvies. 10 oz still moves to much for me on a long cast. I've seen people fish with more or less but 12 works for me. I've caught most my fish in the last couple of years on sparkly pink spin-n-glo, mylar wings, coupla beads, owner treble and herring smelly jelly. Never needed bait or yarn.

Wish I was there.
